DESCRIPTION:\nDistance: approx. 55km\nRoute overview: Saarbrücken – Sarrlouis –  Saarbrücken\nDescription:\nThe bike path is well marked, without slopes and easily passable which makes it ideal for young and old as well as inexperienced people. Starting from the Saarbruecken train station, we dwill cycle past former coal mining areas and the ‘Völklinger Hütte’ an ironworks that is today declared as a UNESCO world heritage site. We will accompany the Saar river until we reach the fabulous city of Saarlouis. The highlight of the tour is the ride along the iconic Saar river. As we go, we will enjoy breathtaking views of the Saar, follow its uniquely beautiful loops and feel immersed in the nature that lines its banks. We will have some time to explore the city of Sarrlouis and have some refreshments before we start our journey back towards Saarbruecken.\nPlease note that the relevant social distancing measures will be applied.
